This is Dom Pheng, a long time person with hobby in photographing. I remember after I got my first Canon Powershot A40 during my third year in University in 2003, I start shooting landscape photographing because back then I had few friends and events which I could take chance to take portrait. Years after years, I had enough saving to make a purchase of a second hand canon EOS 10D in 2005 from a Malaysian lady who did not want to carry such a heavy equipment. Since then, I have never looked back.

I must say that if you would like to have a better camera taken, a beginner Digital SLR is a requirement. It is better for you to save more bucks to make a purchase a digital SLR rather than those compacts camera because you will love the speed and quality it could produce. The other features of digital SLR is that it allows you to change the lens and hence it is to  your advantage to purchase the digital SLR.
